Impact of 2015 – 2016 funding

The majority of our PE school sports funding for 2015-2016 was used to support our school’s Gymnastics CPD programme. This facilitated the employment of a local authority gymnastics specialist to work with each teacher and class to plan, lead and support a series of gymnastics lessons. The outcome was that each child benefited from high quality gymnastics input and each teacher received bespoke CPD to enhance their own skills. Evaluations from teachers were all very positive and the provision of gymnastics in the school has improved as a result. The children were very positive about the experience.
