The information below is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils and parents/carers about what to expect from remote education when national or local restrictions require either the whole school or entire cohorts (or bubbles) to remain at home.
A pupil’s first day or two of being educated remotely may look different from our standard approach, while we take all the necessary actions to prepare for remote teaching, as this can sometimes happen at very short notice.
In order to ensure that learning is continued, irrespective of lockdown and self-isolation, Our Lady of Lourdes has developed the following plan. This plan offers remote learning opportunities whilst also acknowledging that some households have limited access to devices and may require hard-copies of work and resources. We will strive to support all families who have no access to devices or internet.
