What is the quality of our curriculum in religious education?

RE is a core subject at Our Lady of Lourdes with 10% of the weekly timetable allocated to teaching it. We currently use the Margaret Carswell resources which follow the liturgical year, allowing the children to develop their understanding of their faith and scripture as they progress through the school, engaging in a range of activities such as: art, role play, music and writing. The children also have an opportunity each term to learn about other faiths - Judaism, Islam, Sikhism and Hinduism, with a different focus area of the religion in each year group.
